Sima Abrizeh is a multidisciplinary painter, graphic designer, and art instructor with over 35 years of experience in the visual arts. Her creative journey began in Iran and has taken her through the Netherlands, New Zealand, Dubai, and Canada, where she has showcased work in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
Her art blends technique with emotion, using color and composition to tell meaningful stories. Whether through portraiture, abstract work, or mixed media, Sima’s pieces reflect a deep sensitivity to the world around her.
Alongside her personal practice, Sima has devoted many years to teaching art, working with youth, adults, and professional artists. She has taught at respected institutions such as the International Arts Academy, Supernal Art School, and Blue Lotus Art Gallery. Her classes focus on building confidence, understanding technique, and unleashing personal creativity.
As a graphic designer, Sima has contributed to branding, marketing materials, and digital visual communication projects. She is proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and has been formally recognized for her design work—including an award from the 5th Biennial of Iranian Graphic Designers at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art.
Today, Sima continues to create, teach, and inspire in Edmonton, building her artistic legacy with passion and dedication.
